The Blossoms

The branches don’t yell at the blossoms.
They don’t make them all be the same!
They don’t get the other blossoms,
To make their neighbours conform.
Each is simply allowed to be,
Whatever it needs to be.

The blossoms are all similar,
Enough to be the same,
But they are not identical,
Not by a long shot.
Not by blossom standards, anyway.

No, the branches don’t yell at the blossoms
They support them.
Provide a foundation,
A place to bud and grow,
And bloom and shine.
So they can just enjoy being,
Blossoms!

And when the blossoms fade,
And fall to float away,
They have left the ability of fruit behind,
To bud, and grow and develop,
And ripen,
To provide sustenance,
And the seeds of new possibility.
Seeds that can fall to the earth,
To their original,
Where they find what they need to sprout,
And take root,
To begin growing,
And create trees of their own.

The blossoms don’t yell at the branches.
They don’t turn on their support and say.
You weren’t good enough.
You aren’t good enough.
You didn’t do it right!

They don’t take away the knowledge,
Nor their belief,
That they did the best they could,
Under their circumstances.

Blossoms don’t attack their own foundations,
That would make them flounder,
And it would be like asking to die…
( No wonder people are scared!… )

But then again,
Perhaps some do, don’t they?
Some blossoms must lose their purpose,
They must reject the branches that support them,
And fall to the ground,
Without ever having the chance,
To develop the fruit of improvement,
Nor the seeds of more.

Trunks don’t yell at the branches.
They don’t make them all conform.
They don’t make them grow in specific directions,
Nor tell them to hold certain shape.
They simply trust the blueprint,
The one that’s in their soul.
And nurture their ability to reach out,
From wherever they may sprout,
And grow from there.
And so they do.
They reach out and sustain themselves,
Which in turn sustains the smaller branches,
Which sustains the blossoms that are forging more for the future,

No, the trunk won’t yell at the branches,
It supports them,
And provide the infrastructure
For the more,
By supporting the branches,
And the blossoms in the now,
Thus enabling the future.

The trunk is firmly rooted in the ground,
Drawing what it needs to survive,
And thrive,
So it can be the best foundation,
It can be,
Under its own circumstances.

The roots don’t yell at the trunk,
They don’t make the trunk fight it’s environment,
To grow a certain way,
No matter what.
They trust the trunk to grow,
And adapt and be supportive,
As best it can under the circumstances.
So the trunk can bend and twist,
And turn and branch out in any way it needs to,
And the roots will support all that as much as they can,
So they can.

No, the roots don’t yell at the trunk,
They provide a stable foot hold,
A connection with the earth,
Their original.

They are in communication,
Far reaching and solid,
An infinite foundation of nourishment,
And knowing.
They grow with the trunk,
And the branches,
And blossoms,
Over time,
For as much time as is needed.

And, sure, sometimes a blossom will fall,
A branch will break away,
A trunk will be ravaged by something,
Or someone that passes their way.
But if their foundations are good,
And if that something doesn’t decimate,
Then they can hold sway.

But every single time a trunk breaks away,
From it’s foundational roots,
Or a branch breaks away from its trunk,
They fall.
And unless they can find a way,
To take root,
And sprout on their own.
To tap into life energies on their own,
Learn to survive,
And thrive,
On their own,
Then they are sure to die.

And if a blossom would turn against it’s branch,
It is left in free fall,
And it may land on the earth,
Its original,
Where it will simply fade,
Without ever bearing the fruit of its own potential.

Not all hope can be lost though,
Because wherever it can,
However it can,
If it possibly can,
Life always find a way.
At least it does,
On our earth anyway…

With as much love, and joy, and freedom, and well-being, and abundance, as possible; always…

& until next time…
